The Speedbox 3.3 chip for Yamaha motors allows you to remove the speed limit and set your own speed limit (in 5 km/h increments). It is compatible with Yamaha PW-X3, PW-S2, and PW-XM motors. The Speedbox 3.3 does not falsify speed or other data such as average speed or distance traveled.
How do I activate Speedbox 3.3 for Yamaha motors?
After installing the Speedbox 3.3 on your Yamaha, you can remove or change the speed limit using the button on the display. When you press the light button or the ↑↓↑↓ button combination, the display will show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), which means the speed limit has been removed. On displays that do not show decimal values, the value will be 9 km/h.
Disabling the speed limit is done exactly the same way – simply press the light button or the ↑↓↑↓ combination. The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), which means the speed limit is set to 25 km/h. On displays that do not show decimal values, the reading will be 2 km/h.
How to set speed limit?
You can set the speed limit by switching the assistance mode three levels down and then three levels up. The new speed limit will appear on the display. You can also change the limit (in 5 km/h increments) by briefly pressing the light button or rotating the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds.

The use of electric bicycles with an unlocked top speed on public roads is prohibited in Poland and in most European countries. Electric bicycles equipped with a SpeedBox chip may only be used on private property.
