How does SpeedBox 3.0 for BOSCH works?
Our product is easy to operate. Activation can be done on your e-bike’s display. After activating the WALK function, the display briefly shows a speed of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph). From that moment, you can ride without a speed limit – 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even more than 60 km/h.
After activating the WALK function again, the tuning will turn off. The display will show a speed of 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be reactivated. The bike will function the same as it did before the SpeedBox installation.
If the bike does not have the WALK function, activation can be done using the – + – + buttons. The same method can be used to deactivate SpeedBox.
You can set the maximum speed by toggling through modes: Turbo – EMTB – Tour – Eco – Tour – EMTB – Turbo. After doing so, the current speed limit will appear on the screen. You can change the maximum speed by briefly activating the WALK function or rotating the wheel 360°. A speed of 1.5 km/h corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 to 20 km/h, 2.5 to 25 km/h, 3.0 to 30 km/h, and 9.9 to 99 km/h. The last shown limit will be saved after five seconds of inactivity.
If you are using SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (production year 2020 or later), you must leave the bike on after your ride until the speed of 0.0 km/h is displayed. During this phase, the display will show the elapsed time (in minutes). Once this is complete, you can safely turn off the bike and enjoy your next ride.

Electric bikes with SpeedBox cannot be used on public roads or bike paths. Bikes equipped with SpeedBox should only be used on private property at your own risk. Do not remove the display until the countdown is finished.
We recommend not updating the e-bike software to avoid detection of tuning.
