If you want to update your e-bike’s firmware, first uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike, update the firmware, then reinstall SpeedBox.

SpeedBox 3.0 allows you to freely set the speed limiter on your e-bike. After installing the device, the e-bike’s display will show real data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance traveled, and range.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?

Our product is easy to use. Activation can be done on your bike’s screen. After activation, the WALK function will briefly display a speed of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) on the screen. From this moment, you can ride without speed limits – 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even over 60 km/h.

Reactivating the WALK function will deactivate the tuning. The screen will show a speed of 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be active again. The bike will work the same as before the SpeedBox installation.

If the bike doesn’t have the WALK function, activation is done by pressing the + – + – buttons. You deactivate SpeedBox the same way.

You can set the maximum speed by toggling through the following modes: TURBO – TRAIL – ECO – OFF – ECO – TRAIL – TURBO. After this, the current speed limit will appear on the screen. Switching the maximum speed is done by briefly activating the WALK function or turning the wheel 360°. A speed of 1.5 km/h corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 to 20 km/h, 2.5 to 25 km/h, 3.0 to 30 km/h, and 9.9 to 99 km/h. The last displayed limit after five seconds will be saved.

Installation

We use color-coded plugs with a key for mounting SpeedBox to your bike, making the installation process really simple. Additionally, we’ve prepared instructions and tutorial videos so that any customer can install SpeedBox independently. If you encounter any problems during installation, you can always reach out to us for assistance.

If you are installing SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you have ridden at least 1 kilometer on it first.
